The Power Spreader provides up to 10,000 pounds of force to separate flange faces up to 3 inches. The Power Spreader is available in hydraulic or manual models.  A standard hand pump can power one hydraulic Power Spreader, or use with multiple units for symmetrical flange opening.

A load lowering valve controls the rate of travel to multiple units. The optional isolation valves enable the operator to control each Power Spreader independently. A pair of Power Spreaders supply 20,000 lbs. of spreading force and 3" of travel; ample for gasket replacement or turning of blinds.

Use a TMT power unit for best speed and performance. The manual Power Spreader uses a ratchet handle to transform 100 ft-lbs of input to 10,000 lbs. of spreading force to create the gap between flange faces.
